Dear Diary,

It was a shorter visit than normal today, as I returned to Birdlip Primary this afternoon to deliver two back-to-back assemblies with WARNING: May Contain Dragons. The first was for Years 3 & 4 – a super bunch of students who had so many questions for me. And the second was for Years 5 & 6 – who had some brilliant suggestions about how to fend of an attacking dragon! Today’s visit was over far too soon, but it has at least given me a chance to catch up with myself after a busy week so far (as well as a lovely opportunity to catch up with some familiar faces). And I hope to host workshops for the Birdlip pupils when I return with my next book in the Words of WARNING collection, next year.
