Dear Diary,

My top tip for school visits? Don’t turn up at the wrong school!!! That’s what I did today before quickly realising I was still half a mile away from my INTENDED destination according to satnav. The pupils and teachers of Churchdown Village Junior were such an amazing audience. And WOW, were they loud!?! Lol. The excitement was infectious, I had such a giggle. There certainly seems to be a recurring theme with all my school visits, though… one of the teachers always seems to get ridiculed during our character name game. I take full blame, of course. Both for that and for suggesting that if the pupils had magical powers, they might like to consider disappearing all of their teachers. (Something every single pupil seemed to like the idea of.) I must admit, I feel physically wiped out after every school visit I do – I’m getting old – but I feel so buzzed up, too. They’re exhilarating. It’s lovely interacting individually with all the pupils at the end of the school day, too. (Although, I’m a little disappointed I didn’t get to join in with roller skating after-school club.) And suffice it to say that the popcorn was a huge hit!!!
