Dear Diary,

It was wonderful to return to St Joseph’s Primary today. The pupils at this school had so many ideas for future book titles and stories I should write in the Words of WARNING collection. And they came up with some fantastic creative writing throughout the day. We had stories, poems, raps, diary entries, and songs aplenty. And the Year 5/6 students really went to town during their workshop and wrote pages and pages at speed! Visiting smaller schools and hosting workshops in classrooms (rather than for whole year groups at a time in the hall) gives me much more time with each pupil, which I love. And spending quality time with all of the St Joseph’s pupils has really refuelled my imagination and given me some cunning ideas for future stories of my own.
