I had a fantastic time at Longford Park Primary Academy on 10th February… despite the fact that the school ended up having a visit from Ofsted on the same day!!!

I just hope the Ofsted inspectors saw what I saw: passionate and involved teachers, happy and enthusiastic pupils who were all keen to impress (and did!), and an outstanding learning environment!

Thank you, Mrs Newell and all the staff at Longford Park, for being so warm and welcoming and for all your help and participation on what I’m sure must have been a nerve-wracking day for you all.

And huge thanks to all the wonderful pupils who blew me away with their creative writing and were such a joy to spend time with.
