I certainly got some funny looks in Cheltenham high street today whilst taking my big book out for a spin around town. I know that, being an author, words are supposed to be my thing. But I really can’t begin to explain how it felt going into Waterstones Cheltenham today and seeing my book on a shelf in a bookshop for the very first time! And yes, I did cry… TWICE. Well, wouldn’t you if you saw your book for sale alongside those by David Walliams? What a surreal morning.
