St Thomas More Catholic Primary

Thursday June 20th 2024

Dear Diary,

My last school visit this week was to St Thomas More Catholic Primary School. There was lots going on there today (including rowing!), so I ended up following my assembly with classroom visits for Years 1, 2 & 4. It was great fun spending time with some younger pupils for a change. I had to adapt my activities a little – to suit the age group – but I was still amazed by the wonderful creations that were produced. And I loved that the scissors and glue sticks were put to good use… in order to construct whole books! There were, of course, many discussions about wobbly teeth. And unicorns featured very heavily in quite a number of our stories. (One very naughty unicorn in particular.) I look forward to returning next year with WARNING: May Contain Dragons.
