Dear Diary,

I had a super time visiting Abbey Junior and St Matthew’s Primary in Smethwick today. But with two assemblies and three workshops to deliver between the two schools… along with almost 100 books to sign throughout the day… I sadly didn’t have the time to take any notes about who came up with what during the workshops. What I do remember, though, is how fantastic all the pupils were during each visit. They all behaved beautifully whilst I was there and were a real credit to their schools. They also had fantastic questions for me and some great ideas for future stories I should write. And there were many future authors among them, given the work we all witnessed today!
