Dear Diary,
I spent a wonderful morning at Bailey’s Court Primary today, introducing the pupils there to the Words of WARNING collection. After a fun-filled assembly with some super audience participation, I spent an hour signing copies of both of my books… before squeezing in a thirty-minute workshop for each of the Year 3 classes. The pupils in Canada class had incredible imaginations and were all keen to read their work aloud. I thought Shuyue’s story written under the title What Do Dragons Do with Doughnuts was very clever:

I also loved Orry’s story about dragon farts vs zombie farts:

Ruby’s story about her teacher being a dragon was great fun, too:

And during my workshop for Iceland Class, many more pupils were eager to share their work with their peers. I particularly enjoyed Iyke’s story:

I thought Elizabeth’s story about a dragon hiding under her bed was great, too:

And I really liked Nimrat’s story entitled How to Train Your Dragon to Do Your Homework:

But in the blink of an eye, it was time to pack up my kit and head around the corner to a nearby school for my afternoon visit. I had such a super time at Bailey’s Court and hope to return again soon… and perhaps stay a little longer next time!
