I’m so pleased I visit schools of all shapes and sizes, as I had a delightful day at Meysey Hampton Primary on Tuesday 24th Feb. There are only around 100 pupils at this school, but what incredible bunch they are! (Their teachers are pretty awesome, too, might I add!)
We had aspiring authors and budding artists in every single class, almost all of them eager to share their work with their peers, and an abundance of imaginative ideas buzzing around in the air all day long. And as for the Reception pupils… well, they might just have been my favourite Reception class to date! I can’t believe they didn’t tire of all the activities I took along with me and were still going strong at the very end of my hour-long workshop with them!!!
Thank you to everyone at Meysey Hampton for an incredible day, and one that I’ll never forget. Your school is simply wonderful, and it was a joy to spend the day with you all.
