During one of her recent school visits, B. Ware was fortunate enough to meet Layla… an aspiring author. Layla loves nothing more than writing stories in her free time and turning them into books of her own (just like B. Ware used to when she was around the same age). When Lily is woken at night by a strange creaking noise, she’s determined to investigate. She bravely heads downstairs, wondering where the sound could be coming from…
Hearing a terrifying creak coming from downstairs, Lily jumped out of bed.
‘What was that?’ she cried.
Thankfully, it was nothing to worry about. It was just Lily’s cat, Tidalls, going in and out of the cat flap!
B. Ware hopes Layla will continue writing, and looks forward to reading more of her stories in the future.
